Spicers Hidden Vale is situated on a 10,000 acre working cattle station in Queensland's Lockyer Valley, just 60 minutes drive south west of Brisbane. This Lockyer Valley accommodation is surrounded by picturesque mountains, valleys and lakes.

Spicers Hidden Vale was first settled in the early 1800s - the original Homestead, built in the 1920's, is testimony to Australia's colonial past but has recently been revived with the indulgent touch of Peppers. While maintaining the heritage and elegance of a bygone era, Spicers Hidden Vale gives you the opportunity to gain an insight into the workings of a modern cattle property, but with all the comforts that you would expect of a Spicers Retreat.

The Retreat is designed in the style of a traditional Australian homestead with the main guest lounge, reception, restaurant and bar located in the original Homestead. Scattered amongst country gardens are elegantly restored buildings dating back to the 1920's and converted into luxury guest accommodation.

The guest accommodation is located in a cluster of unique cottages all having their own distinctive character. Each of the 30 rooms and suites offer breathtaking views, private verandahs and the distinctive touch in casual indulgence synonymous with Spicers.

Luxury Suite: Offer stunning large stand-alone cottage-style accommodation with separate lounge room and picture windows overlooking the valley. Each Luxury Suite is superbly styled with modern furnishings. French doors from both the lounge and the bedroom lead out onto the verandah. These suites offer intimacy and uniquely superb views. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.

Dining

Cotton's Restaurant: Offers fine dining and gourmet cuisine in a relaxing, intimate atmosphere with beautiful views over the surrounding valley and mountain ranges. The innovative menu highlights fresh produce that South East Queensland Country is famed for, matched with a superb wine list. Open daily for Breakfast and Dinner and Friday to Sunday for Lunch.

Cotton's Bar: Is perfect for relaxed pre dinner drinks or a quiet nightcap to conclude an evening. Those with a taste for classic flavours will delight in a relaxing cognac by the open fireplace while cocktail lovers are advised to allow Spicers staff to surprise them with one of their cocktail specials.
